INTRODUCTION

ÊKÔ is a place of creation and the holder of an exceptional savoir-faire: artisanal pleating. In this Angoulême workshop, Sarah Saint-Pol - its creator - works to safeguard this disappearing know-how by reinventing it and passing it on to future generations. Here, she develops collections of origami-inspired & environmentally-friendly objects, and works with cultural venues to create pieces and scenographies adapted to their values and projects.
