INTRODUCTION

The Disgusting Food Museum was founded in 2018 in Malmö, Sweden, and has since then educated visitors in the evolutionary function of disgust and how it relates to food culture around the world, as well as showcasing new, sustainable protein sources, such as insects and lab grown meat. The exhibition has been hosted as a temporary exhibition in Los Angeles, Nantes, and Bordeaux, and a permanent museum in Berlin. Main visitors are adults, aged 18 to 35, and families with children.
