Inspiration Conferences
Key themes addressed this year:
LISTENING TO AND ENGAGING WITH AUDIENCES
This conference series revolves around the relationship between cultural venues, audiences, and non-visitors.
It emphasizes social issues by highlighting innovative approaches to inclusion and accessibility, while also exploring emerging trends to better understand audiences and attracting new ones.
The sessions will address topics such as the role of neuroscience in enhancing cultural experiences, universal accessibility and inclusive design, welcoming low-income individuals and the use of playful mediation for engaging adult non-visitors.
REDEFINING SPACES AND NARRATIVES
This conference series delves into cultural transformation in the face of ecological and social challenges.
Cultural innovation, typically linked to the drive for digital novelty, will be reassessed from the perspective of social responsibility and more sustainable approaches to technology. In addition, special focus will be placed on contemporary models and narratives that frame the promotion of industrial heritage in the context of ecological transition.
Lastly, the evolving role of libraries as dynamic community spaces, developed in alignment with local needs, will be explored as a potential source of inspiration for museums and heritage sites.
EMBRACING CHANGE FOR RESPONSIBLE INNOVATION
This conference series is dedicated to the implementation of responsible innovation and change management within cultural institutions.
The sessions will explore methods and best practices for fostering and cultivating an internal culture of innovation, as well as the critical role of leadership in driving socio-ecological transitions. How are cultural institution leaders adapting to these new challenges while continuing to fulfill their "traditional" missions?
Additionally, the focus will shift to a specific aspect of social innovation in cultural venues: measuring social impact. Finally, the integration (or not) of generative artificial intelligence within cultural institutions will be discussed from a strategic and responsible perspective.
