Animated coloring BlinkBook: experience and extend the discovery of The Château d'Angers and The Apocalypse Tapestry
On the occasion of the Apocalypse Tapestry's inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage list, BlinkBook and The Château d'Angers partnered to create "The Animated Coloring BlinkBook – The Château d’Angers and The Apocalypse Tapestry". This unique book invites children to color illustrations, read texts, and explore archives, all while locating the monuments using a city map. A remarkable innovation allows the colored drawings to be transformed into a 3-minute animated film, where King René tells the story of the castle and the tapestry, while asking interactive questions.
Children can even add their selfie and voice to experience a personalized and memorable journey.
This educational tool can be used before, during, or after a visit, promoting full immersion. Teachers use it in the classroom, and families continue the discovery at home.
This co-created project values children's artistic and oral expression, while making culture accessible and fun.
