Are sales offers and cultural offers contradictory? Financial services in museums are no more the only one dedicated to manage private space renting, this substantial source of income. Building on their mission of cultural democratization, heritage operators seek to combine space rentals with a cultural offer. Free tours of the collections, curator's conference, guided tours of temporary exhibitions, or even thematic tours specifically designed for businesses: forms are diverse and ways of implementing specific to each museum.
Since this new practices allow to differentiate itself from the ordinary services of a conference hall, those new offer are seen as a path of enrichment for privatization offer. But, are these sometimes obligatory visits a selling point? How to design an offer dedicated to companies expectations? In other words, is the company an audience like any other? How can we capitalize on these privatizations to increase our influence and gain visitors?
