Head of Heritage, culture and memory policy
Florence Brachet Champsaur holds a degree from EM Lyon and a doctorate in history from EHESS. She joined SNCF in 2018 to establish the heritage department, after ten years as head of the heritage and patronage of the Galeries Lafayette Group.
With both an academic and practical approach, she supports organizations in preserving their memory and leveraging their history as a strategic resource.
She promotes heritage through innovation, creating connections between the past, present, and future, and developing mediation tools that make it accessible.
Her role includes preserving and bringing SNCF’s history and memories to life, contributing to their transmission through exhibitions, participating in national commemorations, and fostering ties with academic research.
