Biography

Céline Chanas is a Chief Heritage Curator and has served as the Director of the Musée de Bretagne at Rennes Métropole since 2012. With a background in history and political science, specialized in cultural project management, she has developed expertise in social history museums, the management of heritage institutions, cultural mediation, and exhibitions throughout her career. President of the Federation of Ecomuseums and Social History Museums from 2017 to 2022, she remains actively involved in this national network of over 180 organizations, whose values—transmission, participation, and solidarity—are dedicated to the sustainable development of territories and heritage.
