With extensive experience in cultural management and organisational leadership, he previously held senior positions at Cultuurcentrum Brugge, Brugge Plus, Brussels Philharmonic and Cultuurcentrum De Spil. Appointed Director of Musea Brugge in September 2026, he oversees the museum organisation and contributes to the development of the city's cultural ambitions. Musea Brugge brings together the museums and heritage collections of Bruges, preserving and sharing the city's rich artistic and cultural history. Through its collections, exhibitions and public activities, the organisation connects Bruges' historic heritage with contemporary perspectives and diverse audiences. Opened in May 2026, BRUSK is a major new cultural landmark in the heart of Bruges' museum quarter. Combining ambitious international exhibitions with spaces open to the city and its residents, the building reflects a broader vision of museums as places for cultural discovery, exchange and social connection. As part of the city's wider development plans, BRUSK contributes to the transformation of the museum quarter into a more open and accessible cultural destination.
