CENTRE POMPIDOU

Head of International Development and Corporate Training

Description

Caroline ABSI-LECAT is Head of International Development and Corporate Training at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. With over ten years of experience in cultural development and cultural engineering in France and internationally, she has held positions at the French Development Agency (AFD), where she managed the financing of international cultural and heritage projects, and at SOFRECO/GINGER International, leading cultural, education and training consultancy projects. She also teaches cultural funding at Sciences Po Paris. Founded in 1977, the Centre Pompidou is a major multidisciplinary cultural institution, home to Europe's leading collection of modern and contemporary art. Its mission combines artistic creation, knowledge-sharing and engagement with contemporary social issues. Currently closed for major renovation until 2030, the Centre is continuing its activities through « Constellation », an ambitious programme bringing its collection and multidisciplinary programming to partner venues in France and internationally. This period of transformation is also an opportunity to develop new partnerships, rethink how the institution shares its expertise and explore new approaches to sustainable revenue generation.
