With nearly 20 years of experience in developing and managing digital projects, Agnès Abastado has been Deputy Director of Digital and Head of Digital Development at EPMO-VGE since 2022. Together with her teams, she develops digital content and experiences designed to deepen audiences’ engagement with the collections and cultural program, both onsite and online. As the institution’s lead for responsible digital practices, she also promotes an approach to digital development that considers accessibility, audience needs, and environmental and social responsibility.
Bringing together the Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie, EPMO-VGE holds and presents major collections spanning the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Through its collections, exhibitions and interpretation, the institution explores new ways of engaging audiences with artworks and their stories, including the potential of digital technologies to enhance and expand the visitor experience.
