With a background in engineering, technology and digital product development, Paolo Löffler built an international career across Germany, France and China before bringing his expertise to the cultural sector. As Managing Director of Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig, he oversees the development, production and distribution of immersive content and experiences, working with artists, cultural organisations and international partners. He is also a co-founder of the Immersive Center Alliance, an international network of independent immersive venues that fosters collaboration and supports the circulation of productions.
Located in a former power station in Leipzig, Kunstkraftwerk is Germany’s first permanent museum dedicated to digital and multimedia art. Since 2016, it has developed and presented immersive exhibitions, digital installations and original productions, combining art and technology with the building’s industrial heritage to explore new ways of experiencing culture.
