TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and conditions for visitor pre-registration and participation in the show

PREAMBLE 
You use the MUSEUMCONNECTIONS trade show visitor pre-registration service. 

These General Conditions apply to any pre-registration request placed online by a user (hereinafter the “Client”) from the website www.museumconnections.com (hereinafter the “Site”), and are intended to define the pre-registration conditions to participate, as a visitor, in the MUSEUM CONNECTIONS exhibition (hereinafter the “Exhibition”), organized by the company ARTODAY (hereinafter the “Company”). 

These general conditions may be modified at any time at the initiative of the Company. Any modification of these general conditions as well as the documents to which reference is made will be communicated to the Customer upon their first use of the Site after this modification.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUEST TERMS 
Prior to any pre-registration request, the Client expressly acknowledges having read these conditions general, and accept them without reservation.
EXHIBITION ACCESS TITLES
It is expressly specified that the access tickets sold on the Site (hereinafter the “Titles access") ****are reserved for professionals.
PRICE
The prices of Access Tickets are expressed in euros excluding taxes and will, in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory provisions, be increased by value added tax at the current rate.
PAYMENT
Access Tickets are payable upon ordering.

All orders, whatever their origin, are payable in euros. 

Payment for Access Tickets is mandatory online, using a bank card. The cards accepted for payment of an order are cards from the Carte Bleue / Visa and Eurocard / Mastercard networks. value of the total amount of the order, upon final validation thereof.

It is specified that the debit of the bank card is independent of the actual printing of badges or withdrawal of other items.

Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded by the Company constitutes proof of all transactions passed between the Company and its Clients. 

The data recorded by the payment system constitutes proof of financial transactions. 
SECURITY OF PAYMENTS AND PERSONAL DATA
Security of payments The Site is subject to a security system. The Company has adopted the STRIPE company payment solution which encrypts and secures confidential information. 
Only the Organizer's internal teams as well as the service providers linked to the organization and management of the Show that it has authorized have access to personal data concerning the Client. If applicable, they may also be communicated to third parties according to the choice expressed by the Customer (partners and/or ARTODAY entities). 

 The personal data required to be provided are indicated as such on the forms and are necessary for the conclusion and execution of the contract between the Client and the Company. Without this data, the Company will not be able to process the Client's requests.

In accordance with applicable regulations, the Client has a right of access, a right of rectification, a right of deletion of personal data concerning him and if they are applicable, a right of opposition to the processing of his data, a right to erasure and limitation of processing as well as a right to portability of their data.

Shelf life: 
the personal data of people who have been inactive for 5 years will be deleted from the active database and kept in archives for the time required to comply with legal retention obligations. 

The Customer finally has the right to lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties (Cnil).
CONFIRMATION OF THE PRE-REGISTRATION REQUEST
It is recalled that the Company will systematically confirm the pre-registration request of each Client, by email.
PROVISION OF ACCESS TICKETS
At the end of the order placed and paid online, the Company will send the Customer an email inviting them to print their attached Access Title(s) in PDF format, on an ordinary printer (inkjet or laser) from internet access. 

 It will be generated a PDF per Access Title. 

 Each Access Title access is STRICTLY personal (an identity check of the bearer may be carried out at the entrance to the Show) and non-transferable. 

 It is specified that the Access Cards are also available on the Site in the Customer's personal space.

Consequently, the Company may refuse the entry when several prints, reproductions, copies or imitations of the same Access Ticket which can be printed at home will be in circulation and access to the Exhibition has already been previously granted to the holder of a print, reproduction, 'a copy or imitation of the corresponding Access Title.

The Company declines all responsibility for anomalies that may occur during ordering, processing or printing of the Access Title. In the event of loss, theft or illicit use of the Access Ticket, no duplicate or certificate of any kind whatsoever will be given to the Client, other than the single Access Ticket which can be printed by the Client.
READERS PRESENT ON THE STANDS
Badge readers may be present on the stand of certain exhibitors. 

By presenting his badge in front of a reader, the Customer accepts that the personal data concerning him (surname, first name, email address) will be transmitted directly to the exhibitor so that he can address of commercial offers. 

If the Customer does not wish to transmit his data on a stand, it is his responsibility not to present his badge in front of the reader of the exhibitor concerned. Data from badge readers will also be processed by the Company for statistical purposes and analysis of stand attendance and interaction with visitors.
CANCELLATION, MODIFICATION OF ORDER, REFUND, USE
Any order placed online is firm and final and irrevocably commits the Customer to full payment of the price. 

Consequently, no refund will be made for any reason whatsoever, and in particular in the event of partial or total cancellation of order.

Similarly, the Company will not make any modification relating to the Access Tickets ordered (name of the holder, position, company, etc.) . 

In this regard, the Customer is invited to carefully check the data provided before validation of his order. 

NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE L 221-28 OF THE CONSUMER CODE, ACCESS TITLES TO TRADE FAIRS AND EXHIBITIONS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO A RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL.

IT IS REMEMBERED THAT THE ACCESS TICKETS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE
The street sale of access permits in the public domain, in a private place or on the internet , is a criminal offense punishable by questioning and arrest by the police, punishable by a fine of €15,000 (art 313-6-2 of the Penal Code).

CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION OF THE DATE OR TIME OF THE SHOW DUE TO THE COMPANY
 Upon announcement of the cancellation or of a change in the date or time of the Show for which the Client has ordered one or more Access Ticket(s), the Client accepts that the Company can use the contact details entered by the latter when ordering online to inform them of the procedure to follow.

In the event of cancellation of the Show by the Company due to the occurrence of a case of force majeure, within the meaning of of French case law, the Company will notify Customers without delay. In such a case, there will be no claim for damages and only the price of the Ticket received by the Company will be returned to the Client, to the exclusion of other external costs possibly incurred by the Client. 
IMAGE RIGHT
The Client expressly authorizes, free of charge, the ARTODAY Company: 
• to take, if he wishes, photos and/or films representing him, as a visitor, during the Show or events organized on the occasion of the Show; 
• to freely use these images on all media, in particular advertising (including the Internet), and as part of the presentation and/or promotion of the Show, in France and abroad and for a period of five years from validation of the pre-registration request

The Client who does not wish to be represented in photographs and/or films taken on the occasion of the Show, must notify the Company in writing before the opening of the Show.

Moreover, the Client who wishes to take photos of the Show must inform the Company in advance in writing. As such, the Client will be personally responsible for the authorizations necessary for the shots taken as part of the Show and will be solely responsible for respecting the image rights enjoyed by each exhibitor, visitor and participant in the Show. 
EXTERNAL LINKS
The Site may provide access to the Company's partner sites through hypertext links or through integration into the Site of content of partner sites. 
The Company declines all responsibility concerning their content, their legality and operation and cannot be responsible for the use that may be made of them by users. 
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All elements, texts, logos, images, sound elements, software and icons contained in the Site or reproduced on said Site are protected by intellectual property law throughout the world. Consequently, it is prohibited to modify, represent or reproduce the Site and its content in whole or in part, regardless of the medium or process used.
APPLICABLE LAW, DISPUTES
The pre-registration offered by the Company on the Site is subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of the Company's head office have sole jurisdiction.
