Meet with the National Museums Scotland at the Touring Exhibitions Pavilion
National Museums Scotland is one of the leading museum groups in the UK and Europe, caring for collections of national and international importance. Our flagship site, the National Museum of Scotland in central Edinburgh, is the most popular attraction in the UK outside of London, attracting over 2 million visitors annually. Our mission is to address the challenges of our age through creativity, innovation, collaboration and partnership. Our focus is to promote diversity and inclusion, to be a respected resource for understanding the crises facing the natural world, and to continue to inspire our audiences worldwide.
Following the success of Monkeys! A Primate Story and Body Beautiful we will present our new touring exhibition, Audubon’s Birds of America. This rich and beautiful exhibition combines natural sciences and exquisite artworks to uncover the story behind one of the world’s largest, most valuable books, whilst re-examining the man who created it and his legacy for the biodiversity crisis today.
