Description
Over the past three decades, accessibility has become an increasingly important concern, leading to the implementation of accessibility frameworks and inclusive design strategies. However, accessibility challenges continue to evolve in response to ongoing social transformations.
In this panel discussion, we aim to consider access from a holistic perspective and with a long-term vision, framing it as a shared societal issue.
We will focus on the recent awareness and implementation of interdepartmental policies that address previously neglected needs, such as those of neurodivergent visitors. Additionally, we will explore the role of cultural institutions, not only in implementing accessibility for all, but also in raising awareness and challenging stereotypes, both externally and internally.
