Open Day program Explore new perspectives for the Museum of Tomorrow
The Open Day of Futur Museum extends the conversations and research of Future Museum Phase IV, bringing its reflections to a wider professional community.
Taking place in Bruges following 2 days of Future Museum working sessions, this edition explores two closely connected challenges for museums today: wellbeing and new revenue sources.
Through expert perspectives, case studies and experiences from museums and cultural institutions, the programme explores how museums can strengthen their contribution to individual and collective wellbeing while developing new forms of value and more resilient revenue models.
From digital content and new visitor experiences to partnerships, licensing, retail and wellbeing programmes, the sessions examine different approaches already being explored across the sector — and the strategic questions they raise for the museum of tomorrow.
