Biography
Hélène Vassal is Chief Curator specialised in Preventive Conservation, Registration and Exhibition Management. Since 2023 she has been appointed as Director of Collections management and care at the Musée du Louvre after 3 years at the Institut National du Patrimoine as Deputy Director in charge of Continuing Education and 7 years at the Centre Pompidou. Her teaching and involvement with ICOM since 1998 sparked her focus on the intersection of heritage, collection management and sustainability.
