Biography
Alexandre Calil is a pioneer XR producer and curator from Brazil with over a decade in immersive media. Founder of VERS and co-founder of the XRBR Association, where he also served as President, he has led global XR communities and delivered 35+ exhibitions across Brazil and abroad, including XR programs for the Varilux French Film Festival. He served as jury of the World VR Forum in Switzerland, was internationally awarded at Laval Virtual for Ink & Fire – Rock Painting VR, and will serve as jury at Laval Virtual 2026, in France. His company is currently responsible for the operational delivery of large-scale, touring free-roaming XR exhibitions exceeding 1,000 m², including the largest XR exhibition in Latin America.
