Biography
Grit Keller is a historian and has been a curator for education and outreach at the Humboldt Forum since 2018. She still got to know the cultural project as a construction site and accompanied and built up the academy, the department for education, outreach and research, as well as the workshops on the first floor from the very beginning. She studied history and French philology in Potsdam, Berlin, Torun and Montpellier. As a curator, she realized the special exhibitions Family matters which is currently on display and Terribly beauty: Elephant – Human – Ivory. Her focus is on the outreach work with school classes in Berlin, urban society and professional audiences such as teachers or educators whom she invites to a Teachers’ Night every year. She has realized exhibitions and political-historical educational projects at the Jewish Museum Berlin, the House of History Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart, the Berlin-Hohenschönhausen Memorial and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.
