About us

Polymorphe Design: Making cultural and tourism sites accessible to visitors with disabilities Founded in 2007 by Maud Dupuis-Caillot, Polymorphe Design helps cultural, heritage and tourism sites become accessible to all audiences, and especially to visitors with specific needs. We believe accessibility is not a regulatory constraint but a driver of creativity. Touching, listening, smelling, handling: each sense becomes a gateway to artworks and places, benefiting every visitor, without compromising on aesthetic quality. Polymorphe Design gets involved from the earliest stages of a project, providing assessment, advisory and client-side project support. We also design interpretive devices, from low-tech to high-tech: tactile models and maps, raised-relief elements, sensory trails, audio and digital devices, always shaped around the visitor experience. We work directly with museums and site managers, or alongside museography and exhibition design teams. Selected references: museums (Musée Dobrée, Musée de la Marine…), heritage sites (Hôtel des Invalides…), tourist offices (Lyon, Bonifacio…), the Conservatoire du Littoral, nature parks. Let’s meet at our stand to talk about your projects!
