About us
Savonnerie Baba is an artisanal soap maker based in Paris, in the city’s 14th arrondissement. Originally trained as a pastry chef, its founder, Alison Fleck, has brought the same high standards, precision, and skilled craftsmanship to soap making, using a fully manual cold-process method, from blending the oils and handling the chemistry to cutting the soaps.
Savonnerie Baba creates soaps as true works of art, inspired by Parisian heritage, decorative arts, and museum collections. Its soap formulas combine olive oil, essential oils, and plant powders from organic farming to create gentle, refined, and easily customizable products.
Among its achievements, Savonnerie Baba developed a range of certified souvenirs, made in Paris, for the Paris Catacombs Museum: soaps designed as high-quality derivative products that reflect the cultural institution they represent.
Savonnerie Baba works with professionals looking to offer a distinctive retail selection rooted in French craftsmanship, including museums, monuments, concept stores, hotels, and cultural shops. Each collaboration is tailored to embody the identity of the partner venue.
Savonnerie Baba is looking to develop new collaborations with cultural and heritage institutions while maintaining its commitment to artisanal production and bespoke storytelling.
