Biography
Since early 2022, Agnès Abastado has served as Deputy Director of the Digital Department and Head of Digital Development at EPMO-VGE (Public Establishment of the Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie). With nearly 20 years of experience in designing and managing digital projects, she supports the definition and implementation of the museums’ digital strategy, aligning technological innovation with cultural challenges. Alongside her teams, she designs, develops, and displays multimedia and interactive assets to enhance the visitor experience, both on-site and online. Her responsibilities include digital communication and mediation, aimed at promoting permanent collections and cultural programming, with a strong focus on accessibility, creativity, and visitor engagement. As the sustainable IT referent at EPMO-VGE, Agnès Abastado advocates for a thoughtful and inclusive approach to the digital transformation of museums, in line with the institution’s CSR policy (Corporate Social Responsibility).
